Dine at the Ninety-Nine Tonight, Help Support Homeless Teens

Journeys of Hope fundraiser at Lynnfield Ninety-Nine on Salem Street tonight from 5 to 10 p.m.

Journeys of Hope Inc., a North Shore non-profit, will host its third annual "Dining for a Cause" event at the 99 Restaurant in Lynnfield on March 25 to benefit homeless and at-risk young adults ages 18 to 23 years of age from North Shore communities.

Pat Campbell of Lynnfield, a member of the board of directors, will host this event at the 99 Restaurant, 317 Salem Street, Lynnfield from 5 to 10 pm. The 99 Restaurant will donate 15% of the guest check to Journeys of Hope for dine-in or take-out orders for each party that presents the attached event voucher.

The Journeys of Hope day program provides: assistance for emergency shelter referrals, clothing, food and other basis needs; advocacy and case management, offering on-going support and life skills education in the areas of housing, health care, education, job readiness and legal services. The street outreach efforts builds an awareness about the Journeys of Hope day program for North Shore homeless and at-risk youth, who may not visit the Journeys of Hope day program setting.

Journeys of Hope opened its door in spring 2010 and during its first two years of operation served 185 clients, logging in over 1000 visits. As Journeys of Hope ends its third program year over 150 homeless and at-risk youth have visited the program totaling over 1050 visits.

Pat Campbell recently stated, "I am so grateful for the generous on-going support for Journeys of Hope from the greater Lynnfield community, its individuals, civic groups and churches. As I go to various businesses, meetings and civic and social activities I am given toiletries, gift cards and donations. It is so heartwarming to be reminded of how generous and caring people are when it comes to helping these young adults."

At the 99 Restaurant event the board of directors of Journeys of Hope will be assisted by Sloan Colby Nunziato and Logan Colby Nunziato, students at Lynnfield High School.

Pat Campbell and other members of the Journeys of Hope board of directors look forward to meeting and thanking the many benefactors and supporters of the Journeys of Hope program on Monday, March 25.
