Classic New England Character With Amenities

Each week, Lynnfield Patch takes a look at an interesting home currently on the market in town.

With a place like this, really, what’s not to like? This home at 284 Main Street has a one-acre lot with a handful of nice shade trees, framed with a stone wall and steps out front. The 2,591 square foot home was built in 1900, and it’s got that classic New England type of character that you increasingly need to head back a century or two to find.

That said – the kitchen is stocked with a wine chiller, a wet bar, a breakfast nook, and even apparently a half bathroom. The dining room has hardwood floors, the family room has a fireplace (so does the living room), and one of the bedrooms has a skylight and balcony.

Back to that big yard – there’s even an in-ground pool. A short distance down the road is the town’s Partridge Island boardwalk and conservation area.
