Annual Chicken BBQ Raises Funds for Lynnfield Rotary Programs
Annual event in early September plays a significant role in funding Lynnfield Rotary programs for the community.
The hundreds of people who joined the Lynnfield Rotary on the Town Common Tuesday for the annual Chicken BBQ helped raise as much as $10,000. The money helps fund many different Rotary activities that benefit the community.
Barbecued chicken and hot dogs were on the menu, with raffles and tables by various community organizations and businesses, including King's, Whole Foods, and Haven From Hunger. There was also a classic car show across the street from the town common.
Up next, another big Lynnfield Rotary fundraiser is the annual Turkey Trot 5K road race, held this year on Sunday, November 24.
