Summer Concert Series Wraps Up Wednesday

LHS choral singers and musicians perform July 27 on town common, 6-8 p.m.

The following is an announcement from the Lynnfield Public Concerts Committee:

The final concert in the Summer Series features Lynnfield High School Students playing and singing on the Lynnfield Common Wednesday July 27 from 6-8 p.m. (rain date Thursday).   This year’s format will showcase two or three small student/alumni musical groups lead by Band Director Tom Westmoreland and a choral group and soloists lead by LHS’s Doug Hodgkins.  A variety of jazz, rock and popular music will be performed as each group highlights their particular talent.

The fundraising refreshment table will be run by the LHS Band Boosters selling Kayem hot dogs, snacks, beverages and baked goods.  Northfield Orthodontics will be serving free ice cream at the concert to thank their customers and support the Band Boosters.  Intermission entertainment is provided as a courtesy by Joyce Speicher of Wiggles & Giggles, a children’s fitness provider.  The free children’s activity is a face painting/temporary tattoos table.
