Organist Brian Jones In Lynnfield Next Sunday

Concert at St. Paul's Episcopal Church is Sunday, May 15 at 4 p.m.

The first in a series of three organ concerts to introduce and celebrate the new organ at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 127 Summer St. in Lynnfield, will take place Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 4 p.m.

The concert will feature Mr. Brian Jones, Director Emeritus of Music and organist at Trinity Church, Copley Square in Boston.  Mr. Jones will perform a rollicking and poignant program ranging from the soaring heights of J.S. Bach to the fun and enchanting music of John Phillips Sousa.

The public is invited to attend. A suggested $10 free-will offering will be collected and a reception will follow the concert.

The second concert in the series is planned for Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., featuring Mr. Chandler Noyes, Director of Music at St. Mary’s Church in Georgetown, Mass.  The final concert in this series will take place Sunday, June 12, with Mr. Mark Engelhardt, Director of Music at Grace Church in Salem, Mass. at the console.
