Lynnfield's Concerts on the Common Resume Wednesday

Concert on the common was rained out last week. On Wednesday, July 17, Evolution performs.

The following was provided by the Lynnfield Rotary, organizer of the annual summer concerts on the town common: 

Following a rainout of last week’s concert, The Lynnfield Rotary Club and Interact Youth group are excited to resume this summer’s Concerts on the Common series. The bands for the three remaining concerts scheduled for July are:

July 17  Evolution (classic rock from 60s the present, longtime local favorite featuring many LHS alumni)

July 24  Wildfire (Boston’s premier dance band, dynamic vocals and versatile musical selections)

July 31  Roundabout (outstanding local group recognized as Boston’s Top Wedding Band—come enjoy this night even if you’re already married)

Concerts are scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Bring a blanket or lawn chairs.  You may wish to pack a picnic dinner or purchase Kayen hot dogs and other snacks from our concession stand.  The Recreation Department will be hosting children’s activities as well. 

We’re proud to continue to offer these concerts free of charge in large part due to the generous sponsorship of our Gold Sponsor – Kayem Hot Dogs, and our Platinum Sponsors – Kellys Roast Beef, Northrup Realtors,  Remax Leading Edge, The Savings Bank/First Financial Trust, and the Lynnfield Recreation Department.

Rain dates for these concerts are the Thursdays following.  Looking forward to seeing you on the Common.
