We have planned an exciting music series for the community called “It’s A Melodious Spring at the Lynnfield Library!”

Choral Director Bill Sarno returns for “Four MORE Icons of American Musicas a follow-up to his fall 2012 series: Ethel Merman, Perry Como, Barbra Streisand, and Bing Crosby on April 4, April 11, May 2 and May 9, respectively.  All programs are 10:00 to noon.

On Thursday, May 30, at 7:30 pm, we welcome the vocal duo Ellen Schwartz and Roger Bruno called “Too Human” with their distinctly folksy/bluesy/jazzy sound.  Accompanied by guitar and upright bass, they perform music from the American Songbook.

Our final concert of this series will be the “Willow Flute Ensemble” on Sunday, June 2 at 3:00 p.m. A twelve flute ensemble, they perform classical and world music on flutes of all kinds – from bass flute to piccolo. We hope that you can join us for this wonderful new series!

All events will be held at the Meeting House on the Common on the corner of Main and Summer Streets in Lynnfield.  No registration required. Public is welcome and there is no charge or registration.
