Lynnfield Art Guild Holding Last Demonstration Until Fall

June 16 presentation features Merrimac artist Susan Hebenstreit.

The Lynnfield Art Guild is pleased to announce its final art demonstration of before the summer break with Artist Susan Hebenstreit of  Merrimac on Thursday June 16 at 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Senior Center, 525 Summer Street, Lynnfield.

Susan Hebenstreit is a multi-talented artist with two decades of experience in many media including:  stained glass, watercolor, murals, oil and pastels. She has been juried into the New England Watercolor Society; the Guild of Boston Artists; and the National Pastel Society.

Ms. Hebenstreit is a founding member of the Women in the Wild, a group of women painters who paint ‘plein aire.’  She exhibits regularly at the Newburyport Art Association where she is also an instructor.  In fact, Hebenstreit has been dubbed “Dame Susan of Merrimacport” in the arts community with many of her works in private collections across the country.

The public is invited to attend this and all monthly LAG demonstrations, which include refreshments and the opportunity to meet area artists.  Doors open at 6:45 p.m.  The LAG has over 225 members in art, crafts and photography from over 25 area communities.  Membership includes the privilege of participating in the winter and spring annual shows.
