Y Puts on First Annual Halloween Bash, Duck Race

Halloween Bash at Torigian YMCA on Lynnfield Street in Peabody on Saturday.

It's a Halloween bash at the Y

The will host its first annual Halloween Bash, Saturday, Oct. 22, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., at 259 Lynnfield St., Peabody.

Activities will include: donuts-on-a-string contest, line dances, inflatables, costume contest with different categories, candy hunt and movies. Participants under third grade must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost: $8 for members; $10 for non-members; $20 for families of three or more. Food and drink will be for sale.

Halloween Duck Race

Before you get settled in for the bash Saturday, a Halloween duck race will be held at 6 p.m. in the indoor pool, by the front desk.

Purchase ducks at the front desk for $5. Ducks can be used as souvenirs at the end of the race. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA youth fund.

First place will win a family fun basket, second place gets a Halloween movie basket and third place is a Trick-or-Treat basket.
