Village Home & Garden Club Welcomes New Members

Meeting is Monday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Old Meeting House.

The following was provided by The Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield:

The Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield welcomes new members as we gear up for a fresh season of home, garden, home decor and civic beautification projects. Our first meeting of the season will be held on Monday, September 9th at 7:30 PM at the Meeting House on the Lynnfield Common.

Looking for a unique hostess gift idea? Join us on September 9th when professional florist, Darlene Donnelly of Heritage Flowers in Lakeville, MA, shows us how to make a colonial-style candle do double-duty as a flower vase -- two gifts in one. You can bring your own colonial-style candle or we will have them available at the meeting for $10.00. Flowers will be supplied.

From September to June our monthly meetings and activities will range from horticultural guest speakers,  private group visits to Whole Foods and The Container Store, as well as traditional annual events -  decorating the Lynnfield Library for the holidays and "Art in Bloom" in the Spring.

Monthly meetings are typically held every second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM. Annual dues is $30.  A $5.00 guest fee will be waived at our first meeting should you elect to join the Club.
