PHOTO: Making A Difference Locally

The following information was provided by Gathering Change, Inc.

Clothed in PJs and pulling a red wagon with a sense of purpose, Lucy Cleary, Caroline Connolly and Kevin Conolly decided to celebrate "Make a Difference Day" by raising money for Gathering Change, Inc., a local charitable organization that raises money for food pantries. 

The children put flyers in their Lynnfield neighbors mailboxes on Friday, October 21st announcing their intention to collect coins the following morning by going door-to-door.  On Saturday, October 22nd, the kids visited 22 houses in their neighborhood. Everyone who answered the door gave some kind of donation, ranging from $.07 and a whole coffee can full of coins to $30 in bills. The children raised $233!
