PAWS' Pumpkin Patch is Full of Orange Tabbies who are Ripe and Ready to Go Home with You

PAWS' Pumpkin Patch is Full of Orange Tabbies who are Ripe and Ready to Go Home with You

Adopt out of our Pumpkin Patch: Orange Tabbies are Ripe and Ready to Go

Hi, my name is Carberry and as you can see, I'm a beautiful five-year-old orange tabby.  I have to say, I am delighted Halloween is over since I keep getting confused for a pumpkin.  Must be my beautiful orange coat and the way I sit around and purr.  Ok, I am large, fourteen pounds (all brawn) and I guess when I curl up, I look just like a jack-o-lantern.  But really, what pumpkin purrs, is beautiful and laid back and gets along well with dogs and well-behaved cats?  The best news of all about me is that PAWS is lowering adoption fees on certain cats just for this weekend.  I see I am on that list.  I am happy about that because I so very much want a home of my own.

Did I mention we have a pumpkin patch at PAWS?  Well, not really, but we do have some pretty amazing orange tabbies. Besides me, there is Tre Cool, named after a famous musician.  But he is no wild man.  I know you humans think red heads are fiery and have attitude.  This is definitely not true of Tre Cool, or me.  I am mellow and laid back and seven-year-old.  Tre is just a big, huggable fellow whose special wish is to sit on the sofa next to you and purr.  Like me, Tre is also a big guy…a big orange teddy bear.  And it is your lucky day because Tre Cool is also one of the specially featured cats whose fees are discounted for this special PetSmart national adoption weekend event.

But wait, there are more of us.  Have you met Harley?  Of course you haven’t because he is so new to PAWS that he is not even listed yet on our website.  I haven’t met him either, but I hear he is playful, a lover of boxes, paper and all toys that roll.  He also loves to eat and, like all of us, enjoys a bit of catnip from time to time. His absolute favorite activity, however, is to snuggle and purr.  “Cuddle monster” is his nickname.  Like I said, we orange pumpkin cats are as sweet as all that candy you got trick or treating.  At eight-years-old, Harley is all treat and no trick.

Wait, what is this?  There is one more cat in the PAWS’ pumpkin patch waiting to be plucked.  Her name is Spryng and she is definitely not orange.  She is a beautiful medium-haired tuxedo girl with amazingly large paws.  She is currently living at PetSmart, but she so wants to find a home that she says she is willing to dye her white chest orange and paint stripes on her nose.  Silly Spryng.  You don’t need to do that because you are also a featured cat for this adoption special.  Come to PetSmart and meet Spryng this weekend and you can get a special discount on her adoption.  Wow, that is an amazing deal because Spryng is a bright and eager one-year-old with plenty of energy and lots of love to offer her new family.  Be sure to let her sniff your hand when you first meet and she will turn into a love pumpkin.  Ok, she may not be orange, but she sure is cute.

So if you are looking for some sweet pumpkins to harvest, forget the farm stand and contact PAWS.  We are all sweet, mellow lovers.  And if you like pumpkins in tuxedos, come meet Spryng at the PAWS adoption center at PetSmart in Danvers.
