A local woman reports that she may have spotted a long-missing dog near Saunders Road in Lynnfield.

In an email forwarded to this website, the Lynnfield resident believes that she spotted Zadie, a dog who got lost in Stoneham this spring as a seven-month-old after being startled by a passing motorbike. The dog was only about five feet away at one point and was said to closely resemble the picture from local flyers, which accompanies this article.

The dog’s owners have reportedly continued searching for their dogs daily. The dog is from Cambridge but was apparently in the care of somebody in Stoneham while its owners were away.

Saunders Road is off Main Street adjacent to Lynnfield’s Beaver Dam Brook conservation area, a forested area with some wetlands and trails behind the Center Court shops.

Those who spot the dog or have any information are asked to call 617-800-5588.
