Hundreds Walk to Support Battle Against ALS

Annual walk around Lake Quannapowitt aimed to raise as much as $100,000 to support research to find a cure for ALS.

At least 800 walkers made their way around Lake Quannapowitt on Saturday, raising tens of thousands of dollars for the Angel Fund, which helps fight ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. 

Town and state lawmakers including Reps. Donald Wong and Paul Brodeur, State Senator Katherine Clark, and Selectman Brian Falvey were at the annual event to show their support.
