A Foliage Walk In Reedy Meadow

Foliage is nearing its peak this week on the Wakefield side of the Reedy Meadow conservation area, accessible from near the end of Audubon Road.

This week, I stopped in at the Reedy Meadow Conservation Area in Wakefield, near the end of Audubon Road. Back in May, I made my first visit to this local conservation area and brought back a decent gallery of photos

For this latest visit, I couldn't believe how striking the foliage was in this place a short distance north of Boston. Parts of the small trail network are getting overgrown, making it easy to forget that in some places, you're just several hundred yards away from cars parked in an office parking lot.

With that, take a walk through some of the stunning foliage that can currently be viewed just minutes down the road.
