September State Primary

Absentee Ballots for the upcoming State Primary (September 9th) are now available in the Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours (M-Thur; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM & Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Election Laws require that Absentee Ballots be available to registered voters who meet one of the following three criteria:

1.      Absent from the Town during hours the polls are open

2.      Physical disability which would prevent voting at the polling place

3.      Religious beliefs that would prevent articipation on the day of the election

An application must be completed and received by the Town Clerk no later than noon on the day before the election. You can call the Town Clerk's office (781-334-9400) to request an application, or send a note to the clerk’s office.

Absentee Ballots must be delivered through the US Mail to each requester, or they may be voted at the Town Clerk's Office. Voted ballots may be hand delivered to the Town Clerk, no later than the close of the election polls at 8:00 PM.

If you are new to town or you are not a registered voter, the last date to register for the September Primary is Wednesday, August 20th.  The Clerk’s office will be open from 8 AM – 8 PM.
