Lynnfield Recreation’s next movie night is Friday, January 24 from 6:10 to 8:40 p.m. at Summer Street School. This upcoming movie is “Turbo.” Fee is $12 for movie, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Click here to register.

Wednesday afternoon, Betsy Greco will talk about chocolate at the Lynnfield Library’s next Curious About Cuisine meeting, 3 p.m. in the mezzanine area. All are welcome.

From The Lynnfield Senior Center: Research show that falls and the fear of falling promote physical decline, depression, isolation and feeling of helplessness.  33% of Americans over the age of 65 will fall. Learn about the impact of falls in your life, prevention and practical interventions in this 8 week course starting Thurs, Jan. 9th at 12:15. Free. Please sign up.

Local nonprofit group BKP is seeking donated children’s books to send to libraries damaged by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. If you have any books you can donate, they will be at Centre Congregational Church at 5 Summer Street in Lynnfield on Saturday, January 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
