Coming up on Saturday, February 8 at 8 p.m., Joe Jencks headlines the next Linden Tree Coffeehouse concert at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street in downtown Wakefield. Click here to learn more about this and other upcoming Linden Tree concerts

Coming up on Thursday, January 30 at 3:30 p.m., they’re having a Chinese New Year party at the Lynnfield Library with stories about the Chinese Zodiac, some Chinese music, and a craft. White rice and egg rolls will also be served.

The Lynnfield Historical Society is holding a Victorian style tea party to celebrate the town’s Tricentennial. It’s on Sunday, February 9 at 1 p.m. at the Old Meeting House. Price is $25 per person, including tea/beverages, scones, petite sandwiches and pastries. Prizes for the best hat and best Victorian ensemble (male or female). The Quannapowitt Players’ latest production, “Frankenstein 1930,” continues its run Friday evening, January 31 at 8 p.m. and runs Friday/Saturday 8 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. through Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Quannapowitt Theater, 55 Hopkins Street in Reading. Click here to learn more.
