Town's 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony This Morning

Today is Wednesday, September 11. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Lynnfield's annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is Wednesday, September 11th at 8:30 a.m. in front of Fire Department Headquarters, next to town hall at 59 Summer Street. All first responders and citizens are invited to attend.

The Lynnfield Library starts the season for two its longstanding groups this week – Curious About Cuisine meets Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. with a “Small Plats: Tapas, Mezes and Antipasti” theme. On Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Library’s BookLovers group holds its first meeting of the season. All are welcome.

Lynnfield Girls Soccer is holding a carwash fundraiser at the South Fire Station parking lot this Sunday, September 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MarketStreet Lynnfield reports a full weekend of grand opening activities this Saturday and Sunday, including face painting and a balloon artist, a fashion show, and a cardio kickboxing demo. Check out their website for the complete schedule.
