'Star Wars Symposium' At The Library Saturday

Saturday, October 26 at 2 p.m., the Lynnfield Library hosts a “Star Wars Symposium” for kids aged 5 and up with Jason Bloom, who will lead a fun program that includes a trivia contest, Star Wars costume contest, games and more.
Flu Clinic: The Board of Health has announced its next flu clinic is Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Town Hall. Clinic is open to non-Lynnfield residents as well as Lynnfield residents and there is a $10 fee for those whose insurance is not accepted.

You can enjoy a fun night out and help support a number of local nonprofits at an event being planned to open the new Kings at MarketStreet Lynnfield on Tuesday, October 29 starting at 6:30 p.m. The evening includes a hosted bar, appetizers and bowling, billiards, and more. On Saturday, the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church at 273 Vernon Street holds its fall fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring local crafts, baked goods and more – including frozen homemade apple pies. Coffee and muffins served 9 to 11:30 a.m. and chowder lunch served 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homemade pie served all day.

Friday at 5:15 p.m. , Nancy Bertrand of the Wakefield Historical Society leads a Twilight Tour of the town’s Old Burying Ground, on Church Street. Learn more about the tour and the cemetery here.
Starting Friday at 5:30 p.m., the Greenwood School holds its Halloween Carnival at the Americal Civic Center, featuring games, a costume contest, raffles, dancing and more. Tickets are $15 for the family. More information at this link.
