MarketStreet Lynnfield Grand Opening Is Today

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Thursday, August 22. Here are five things you need to know. 

At 10 a.m. several dozen stores and eateries at MarketStreet are expected to mark their grand opening, with more places expected to open throughout September and October. More information can be found on the official MarketStreet Lynnfield website.  

There’s a car show today at Wakefield Care and Rehabilitation Center, 1 Bathol Street, Wakefield, from 4 to 6 p.m. Proceeds will raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Coming up Friday at 3 p.m., the Lynnfield Library holds a Young Adult Foodie Friday gathering with Jello Aquariums on the agenda.  

Curious About Cuisine: Looking ahead to Wednesday, September 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. the library's Curious About Cuisine group holds its first meeting of the season, with Small Plates (Tapas, Mezes and Antipasti) as the theme for the day.
