Lynnfield Rec. Announces New Learn To Skate Program

Today is Friday, January 3. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Lynnfield Recreation has announced a new Learn to Skate program starting Thursday, January 9 at the MarketStreet Lynnfield rink. The program for ages 3 and up runs from 3 to 4 p.m. for ight weeks, with a 10 to 11 a.m. lesson the school vacation week of Feb. 20. A certified instructor will reportedly teach skating backwards and forward, plus stopping, turning and balancing. A helmet is required, skate rentals available. Town Business: The Lynnfield Board of Selectmen next meets on Monday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.
