Library Food for Fines Program Runs in September This Year

Back to School: Lynnfield students go back to school this Wednesday. Full information on school hours and more is available from the Lynnfield School District at this link

The Lynnfield Library is running its Food for Fines drive from September 1 through September 30 this year. The drive benefits Haven from Hunger – and the September timing is done with an eye on helping out the organization before the holidays, when contributions are said to be fewer.

The 12th annual Walk of Hope for ALS is coming up on Saturday, September 7 around Lake Quannapowitt. Registration is 9 a.m., and the walk is at 11 a.m. To learn more about this event, click here.

Lunch and a Lecture: Coumadin/Warfarin-Nancy Eisan from Eaton Apothecary will be here to discuss drug interactions and the foods and drinks to be careful of when taking this medication. Thursday, Sept.12th at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch is served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before.
