Fundraiser At Kings To Benefit Seven Local Nonprofits

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Tuesday, October 29. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

You can enjoy a fun night out and help support a number of local nonprofits at the new Kings at MarketStreet Lynnfield tonight starting at 6:30 p.m. The evening includes a hosted bar, appetizers and bowling, billiards, and more. William C. Sano, an area musical educator, conductor and pianist and organist, will return to the Meeting House for a new lecture series entitled “Sisters Who Sing.” Sano’s latest lineup will run Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon with The Andrews Sisters on October 31, The McGuire Sisters on November 7, the Lennon Sisters on Nov. 14 and The Supremes on Nov. 21.

Today at 1 p.m., the Beebe Library in downtown Wakefield a children’s Halloween concert with Hugh Hanley. Bring the kids in their costumes and check out Hanley’s 60-minute “Circle of Songs.” 

From The Lynnfield Senior Center: Karen Orband, R.N will be here to discuss diabetes, what it is and treatments. Thurs, Oct. 31st at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch is at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. Sign up for lunch by noon the day before. Depending on interest this could be a monthly discussion.
