Coming Up: Victorian Tea, Coffee House Concert

A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Tuesday, January 28. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

The Lynnfield Historical Society is holding a Victorian style tea party to celebrate the town’s Tricentennial. It’s on Sunday, February 9 at 1 p.m. at the Old Meeting House. Price is $25 per person, including tea/beverages, scones, petite sandwiches and pastries. Prizes for the best hat and best Victorian ensemble (male or female). Lynnfield Little League reports that the final in-person registration for players, coaches and volunteers will be Thursday, January 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the selectmen’s room at town hall. Tee-ball through Big Diamond Division, ages 5-16. Bring birth certificates.

The next Linden Tree Coffeehouse is Saturday, February 8 at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street in downtown Wakefield. New Hampshire musician Jane Fallon is the featured act.
