Tonight at 7:30 p.m., author and Boston TV news reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan will be at the Old Meeting House on Lynnfield Common to discuss her new book “The Wrong Girl.”

Town Business: The School Committee meets at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall.

There’s a CD release party coming up on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street in downtown Wakefield for Kerri Powers and Kevin G. Moore, of Wakefield. The two are performing as part of the ongoing Linden Tree Coffeehouse series. Click here to learn more.  

The Beebe Library in downtown Wakefield has announced that Doug Heath and Alison Simcox, authors of the new Images of America book on the Breakheart Reservation, will give a pictorial presentation on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. Copies of the new book will be available for purchase.
