Local nonprofit group BKP, which sends donated children’s books to library in the Phillippines, is holdings its annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at the Wakefield Elks Lodge, 63 Bay State Road. At the end of this month – Monday, September 30 – The Lynnfield Library holds a Boston Bruins Pajama Party starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring your young hockey fans for stories about hockey, including about some current members of the Bruins, as well as a Bruins craft. All are welcome no registration required.
Wakefield Repertory Theatre reports that it is now accepting resumes from those interested in artistic and technical positions for productions in the spring and fall of 2014.
