Annual Holiday Choral Concert at Library

Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. it’s the annual Holiday Choral Concert at the Lynnfield Library, with members of the Lynnfield Middle School and Lynnfield High School choral groups.

The Lynnfield Athletic Association is selling travel blankets this holiday season to help raise funds for LHS athletic programs. Blankets are fleece/100% water repellent nylon with an anti-pill fleece finish, 50” by 60” – blankets are $40 each. Email Jill at lynnfieldathleticassociation@gmail.com.

The office of House Minority Leader Brad Jones has announced that it’s accepting resumes for spring semester internships. Interested students should send a resume and cover letter to Andrea Crupi, Director of Local Affairs for Representative Jones.  Documents should be sent in a Microsoft Word attachment to Andrea.Crupi@MAHouse.gov. Internships are unpaid but college credits can be earned. 

Whole Foods recently announced it’s teaming up with Project Bread this month through the “Give Bread” program, where customers can add a $2 or $5 donation to their grocery bill. Project Bread reportedly funds 365 community food programs in 110 communities across Massachusetts.

There’s a blood drive today and tomorrow from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at West Side Social Club, 4 Harrington Court in Wakefield. This Blood Drive is in honor of Ashley Cashell, Jessica Downing, Scottie Einarson, and all the Children being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital and The Jimmy Fund Clinic.
