Annual Gingerbread House Contest Is Dec. 7

The 9th annual Lynnfield Recreation and Girl Scouts of Lynnfield Gingerbread House Contest is Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Centre Congregational Church, the same day as the town’s tree lighting. Email recreation@town.lynnfield.ma.us or call 781-334-9488 for more information.

Coming up on Friday, Nov. 15, the Centre Congregational Church has a kids night out for kids aged 3-10. Drop your kids off and enjoy an evening out, the Ambassador Girl Scout Troop 60452 11th/12th graders will watch them, $15 per child, includes cheese pizza for dinner. More information here.

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Lunch and Lecture: Chiropractic care - Dr Briggs will be here to talk about the many benefits of chiropractic care. Low back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, hip conditions and more can be eased through this gentle, safe and effective treatment. Thursday, Nov. 7th at 12:15. Free. Please sign up. Lunch is served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before.  Dr Briggs will be bringing his massage chair!

On Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., the Beebe Library welcomes cave explorer Aaron Tester for a talk about his experiences exploring the various types of caves found in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky and elsewhere.

The Wakefield Chamber of Commerce holds a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sardella Sign and Graphics, 68 North Ave. $10 for Chamber members, $20 for non-members. Call 781-245-1988 for information or to register.
