A Look at What's Coming Up in and Around Town

Today is Tuesday, August 13. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Looking ahead to next month, the Lynnfield Library’s Curious About Cuisine meets on Wednesday, September 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. to talk about “Small Plates: Tapas, Mezes, and Antipasti.”

Coming up this Thursday evening, the Yesberger Band performs in front of the Beebe Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Click here to learn more about them. 

From the Lynnfield Senior Center: Bring your Grandkids to the Center for a day of Fun and Magic! Come and make a day of it. Let’s start the day off with a rousing game of Bingo, followed by a Pizza Lunch with and Ice Cream Social. Then be mesmerized by Magician Eric Benton. Perhaps you could be an assistant!!!  Tuesday, August 20th. The show is free but you must sign up by August 12th. Lunch is served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00 and you must sign up for lunch  by noon the day before.

The 12th annual Walk of Hope to Benefit ALS is on Saturday, Sepember 7th with a 9 a.m. registration. The walk around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield benefits the Angel Fund. Click here to learn more.
