In this event, the audience becomes the chorus, as we sing/play through the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah with a 15-piece orchestra and professional soloists. Listeners are also welcome. A reception follows. Mike Salvatore and Don Hodgkins conduct, and the orchestra is led by Concertmaster Dr. Caroline Lieber.

The First Parish Congregational Church is part of United Church of Christ. It is located in downtown Wakefield, next to Lake Quannapowitt and the town commons. The church offers Bible studies for men and women and youth programs for children and students. It holds weekly services on Sundays. Infant and toddler child care is provided at the 10:30am service.
