patching...
Welcome back, Patch Blogger!
As is sometimes the case with this column, I suspect that this one is either way too easy or way too abstract. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
For this week's image, I went a little bit more abstract, as you can see. Either way - do you know where in Lynnfield this photo was taken?
I'm not completely sure, but I think they call this type of boat a dory. I'm a little bit more certain that it's the only one in Lynnfield that can be regularly seen. That said - do you know where in town this is? Answer in the comments box below!
I'm not sure, but that might be a parking lot in another dimension back there. But probably not. Of course, this website has been known to test the limits of space/time itself or even check for lost civilizations or team up with ghost hunters if it makes for a good story or amusing post. With that - who knows where this was (really) taken? Answer in the comments box below!
Somewhere in town, a fair number of people walk past this logo each day. So - do you know where it is? Answer in the comments box below!
This week's image might be a little to specific, but we'll see. It's in a well-enough traveled spot in town. But it's got nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day or with the ancient Celts, despite looking a bit like it could. For anyone who was wondering. With that - Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
It's a good time to be a Red Sox fan again - and somewhere in town, this collection of images of various team players over the years can be seen. And that's where the title of this feature comes into play - Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
The vegetation shown here sure looks familiar, almost somewhat symbolic of the town if you will. That said - do you know where in Lynnfield this picture was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
Along with the famous Old Meeting House that has graced the Town Common for some three centuries, Lynnfield has another structure - I shall call it... The Mini Meeting House (And I swear I haven't referenced that movie in 10 years). It's somewhere out there in town - do you where where this is?
This week's image doesn't look like much, but it just might get the job done in stumping some readers - even if this is a place fairly well-visited in Lynnfield. For what it's worth, the image also seems to vaguely suggest some album cover that might have been popular at some point in the very early '80s.
Just when you thought that whole 1890s mustache fad thing had gone away. Actually, this is an old yoke that was once used with oxen. Come to think of it, that's a rather strange and random to thing to come across. Where did I find this thing anyway? Answer in the comments box below if you know!
There's almost something vaguely Easter-ish about this image when you think about. It kind of looks a little bit like a flower or something. Ok, maybe that's a stretch. But either way - where in town is this thing? Answer in the comments box below!
If you're hoping to get some actual cider from wherever this place is, word is they don't quite provide it as reliably as they once did. Even worse, there doesn't seem to be a single apple cider donut within a mile of this thing, despite that teaser of a sign. Oh well - do you know where in Lynnfield this picture was taken?
This week's photo is a bit different than usual because it's from an object that isn't always in the same place in Lynnfield. That said - do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
This image is one of those things that many people in town have probably walked past on any number of occasions, without actually noticing it. At times, others may have been sent to this very spot for some reason or another. With that - do you know where in Lynnfield this photo was taken?
This week's image is more than just a big American flag - it also vaguely shows parts of a building in town that many people have been to at one point or another. It's also a place that you're not going to just go driving past on most days. That said, do you know where this is? Answer in the comments box below!
Something tells me that more than one Lynnfield resident knows exactly where this is - So would I have given this week's picture away if I used the title "Dost Thou Know Where This Was Taken?" For what it's worth, the vaguely Southwestern look of the place is making me hungry - but that's a whole other place in town. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
Well, everything is all (semi) frozen outside so at least you know I didn't finally fall into Reedy Meadow on one of my outdoor photo expeditions. Lynnfield is a small town, and there's only a relative handful of places you could expect to find this character. That said - do you know where in town this photo was taken?
As many regular readers of this website know, I've been to practically every corner of Lynnfield, occasionally finding odd phenomena, haunted houses and/or signs of lost civilizations. Heck, we've even come across 17th Century wolf traps and a giant mural made of colorful skulls on our travels. But that said - what about this particular image? Personally, I'm wondering if ancient aliens might have something to do with it. Either way - do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!
Well, according to the song from the early '90s, you gotta take the elevator to get to this place. But in Lynnfield, that's not actually the case. With that cryptic little reference aside - do you know where this was taken?
