Team Cervizzi Kicks In to Kick Out Breast Cancer!

Since 2010 Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy has been raising money for the breast cancer organization Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Team Cervizzi Kicks in Co-founders Deborah Frizzi and Cindy Carrigan started to raise money and walk for the cause as a way of training for their upcoming black belt exam following in Spring 2011. Since then Team Cervizzi Kicks In along with Soke Paul Cervizzi and Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy Leadership Team raises money for the cause. This year Cervizzi's will be donating over $700 with money raised from Pink Belt, Pink T-shirt, Pink Bracelet sales. In addition, CMAA has raised awareness about breast cancer to their students and families. “We have raised awareness and come together as a team for a great cause.

This is what being a martial artist is all about; helping and leading the way, giving to a notable cause, and working with the surrounding communities to better the lives of those around us and it’s exactly what the Leadership Team, and students and instructors embody at Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy”, noted CMAA’s First Assistant Director Chris Crocker. For the first two weeks of October, Cervizzi’s Martial Arts students and instructors at all locations of Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy (Winthrop, Lynnfield, N. Reading, N. Andover) will be able to wear their pink belts during classes to show their support during breast cancer awareness month. On October 14, 2012 Team Cervizzi Kicks In will be walking at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Boston with pink belts and black and pink shirts come join us there to show your support.
