Dog of the Day July 25: Slick

Hello there! My name is Slick. I'm a gorgeous girl from the fine state of West Virginia! I'm seeking a forever home with a family that will love me with all their heart. Can you make that commitment? All I can tell you is that I'm kid-friendly, highly obedient and overall, love people! I will make a great addition to any family! I interact well with kids of all ages and I adore human attention. In fact, I'll do anything to get it. I also need a lot of exercise, so a fenced in yard would be good if you have one. If not, then taking a nice walk with my favorite person is good enough for me. Once you come visit me at the shelter and ask about me, I'll prove to you what I'm worth!

From the Shelter Staff: Slick is highly obedient and knows quite a few commands: sit, stay, and paw. (She can give both paws). She would do very well with clicker training. Ask a Kennel Staff or Volunteer about clicker training if you don't know much about it. We also have a clicker product we sell here at the shelter. Try enrolling Slick in a training class at your nearest Petsmart or other facility that has a training program for dogs. She is sure to succeed!

Slick is a 2-year spayed female Lab/Greyhound Mix. She weighs 44 lbs.
