Woman Reports Salesman Tried To Open Door

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22.
On Monday, May 21 at 12:35 a.m., a caller reported an unwanted party in the stairwell of an apartment building on North Broadway.
At 2:47 a.m., a caller reported strange noises outside on Tedford Lane. It turned out to be a neighbor's faulty outdoor speaker system. He agreed to shut it off.
At 12:59 p.m., police investigated a burglar alarm on Pillings Pond Road. They found an open door, but all else apparently in order.
At 4:24 p.m., a caller reported that a silver Ford Taurus had just struck other vehicles in the parking lot at Kelly Nissan.
At 7:13 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving possible credit card fraud.
On Tuesday, May 22 at 3:18 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on Wymon Way. An officer reported that a woman was inside the house sleeping on a couch, but declined to get up.
At 10:57 a.m., police took a report involving harassing phone calls.
At 1:56 p.m., police issued a summons to a 35-year-old Medford man for failing to stop for a school bus, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failing to wear a seat belt.
At 3:09 p.m., an accident with no damage was reported on North Broadway.
At 4:03 p.m., a disabled auto was reported at Summer and Main streets.
At 4:33 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious man had just rung her bell on Chestnut Street and then tried to open her door. An officer spoke to him and he turned out to be a Comcast salesperson.
