What Should Go Here?
From time to time, Lynnfield Patch will highlight a vacant storefront in town and invite readers to offer suggestions on what should go in there.
Last week, this website introduced a new feature inviting readers to share their thoughts on what they would like to see occupying some of the empty storefronts in town.
This week will ask readers if they have any ideas for the former Botticelli's flower shop in Post Office Square. In fact, it was a reader named Michael who last week brought up Botticelli's in the first place, suggesting that it would be a good spot for a computer repair shop.
Interestingly, when I stopped to get this photo of the empty storefront this week, I actually ran into another individual who has apparently thought about opening a small business there as well.
Overall, the location has ample parking and it's a quick drive or walk from some of the town's other popular businesses - although it's also a bit on the smaller side. As the economy improves, this spot seems to have good potential to re-open in some new form however. With that, chances are you've driven past this spot a hundred times or more - so what do you think would go well in there? Answer in the comments box below!

How about a small satellite office for the police department? It may discourage the groups of teens who hang out there who sometimes discouraging older partrons from using those businesses. Some of the kids annoy the business owners and litter the property. A continual police presence may discourage that!

Thanks for the suggestion! - Not sure if they'd go for it from a budget standpoint, but that parking lot does get its share of calls in the police log. Latest edition even had kids apparently throwing food at Dunkin Donuts employees.

Lots of kids hang in back of Center Court, but not really trouble makers.
