The Lynnfield educational community came together for the annual METCO Building Bridges concert Thursday evening at the middle school.

The Lynnfield Middle School Pioneer singers and the LHS Jazz Band and Chamber Singers joined the African music and dance group Rumbafrica and the Who Dat Band for a fun night that celebrated the world's diversity while delivering some great musical entertainment.

Lelo Masamba, director of the Lynnfield METCO program, delivered the welcome remarks before the music got started. The audience also heard guest speaker James Jackson, a METCO student at Arlington High School who is president of his senior class.
