Vandals Damage Back Seat Of Car With Fireworks

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, July 13 and Thursday, July 14.
On Wednesday, July 13 at 9:13 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to a medical aid call on Carpenter Road.
At 10:48 a.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident in front of the Old Towne Market.
At 12:33 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Salem Street.
At 1:42 p.m., a Walnut Street resident reported that a suspicious man had been walking around her house.
At 2:57 p.m., an Alexandra Road resident called to report that for the second time, a "Slow" sign had been stolen from his front lawn.
At 3:52 p.m. a Stagecoach Lane resident reported that his motor vehicle had been keyed.
At 6:03 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Walnut Street.
At 6:45 p.m., a Brook Drive resident came in to report a larceny incident.
At 7 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported on Newhall Road.
At 9:12 p.m., police dispersed a large group of youths from behind the center stores after receiving a report about drinking in public.
At 11:30 p.m., a Beaver Avenue resident reported a suspicious person in the neighborhood. It turned out to be her neighbor out for a walk.
On Thursday, July 14 at 7:59 a.m., a deer was reported struck by a motor vehicle on Wildewood Drive.
At 9:06 a.m., an accidental alarm activation occurred on Brook Drive.
At 10:19 a.m., a Laurel Road resident reported the destruction of flower pots and a mailbox. He also asked for extra patrols in the area because beer cans and litter have also been left in the area on occasion.
At 10:44 a.m., a tree was reported to be down over a motor vehicle at Center Village.
At 1:23 p.m., police received a call from the Lynnfield Medical Building about youths skateboarding in the parking lot. They had also apparently moved a Dumpster to make more room.
At 2:37 p.m., a Salem Street resident called to report that someone had damaged their vehicle by placing fireworks in the back seat.
At 4:48 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that someone had stolen his trash barrel.
At 5:02 p.m., police checked the 128 ramp on Walnut Street after a report came in about a motorist possibly having a medical issue. The report was unfounded.
At 5:15 , a burglar alarm went off on Edgemere Road.
At 11:25 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Ashley Court.
