The Muscular Dystrophy Association and Lynnfield fire fighters, today announced that a Fill the Boot drive conducted Saturday, June 9 raised $805. to help fuel MDA’s worldwide research and health care service programs for families affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases.

The Lynnfield Fire Department’s annual efforts for MDA, are part of the amazing fire fighter tradition that, since 1954, has been helping fuel MDA worldwide research seeking treatments and cures for neuromuscular diseases, as well as helping fund MDA clinics and summer camps.   “We’re proud to make a difference for local families, and Fill the Boot also gives us a great opportunity to interact with so many caring people,” said Lynnfield Fire Fighter, Ted Cohen.
