The Village Home And Garden Club Builds On Historic Roots

Newly renamed home and garden club holds meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

The following is an announcement from the Village Home and Garden Club, formerly the Village Garden Club of Lynnfield:

After much careful thought and consideration, it has been decided to change the name of the historical Lynnfield organization, The Village Garden Club of Lynnfield to The Village Home and Garden Club. The name change has been made to increase the scope of the club to include the beautifying of not only your garden but also your home . There will still be much about home gardening, flowers, etc. but, in addition, meetings on how to decorate, organize, and beautify your home will be part of the yearly program.

The first meeting on Monday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. will feature guest speaker, Professional Organizer, Susan Parziale, with tips on achieving immediate and long-term goals for improved time-management, clutter control, and space efficiency. There will be a guest fee of $5 at the September meeting which will be waived should you sign up that evening.
