Ten Things Haven From Hunger Needs This Holiday Season
Here's what the food pantry could most use during the holiday season.
Wherever Haven From Hunger chooses to relocate in Peabody, the prospective facility would have to have ample and safe storage for non-perishable food items that are donated daily.

If you're looking to make a donation to your local food pantry during this holiday season, here is a list of items that are always in demand.
Haven from Hunger Executive Director Alyse Barbash says the pantry could use the following:
- Peanut butter
- Tuna fish
- Cereal
- Soup
- Pasta
- Rice
- Tomato sauce
- Canned fruit
- Vegetables
- Gift cards for any super market
And she would be remiss to not ask for one more thing. Haven is currently working to raise $1.3 million for a new and large home for the Peabody food pantry. Barbash said that this is really the biggest and most present need for the organization now.
