Suspicious Woman Was Smoking, Eating A Banana

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, December 12 and Sunday, December 16.
On Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 8 a.m., a caller reported some syringes were found on a traffic island on Chestnut Street.
At 11:39 a.m., police were informed that a TV news crew was refusing to leave the Boston Sports Club parking lot, apparently for another story on John and Marian Burbine. The news truck was gone when police arrived.
At 8:51 p.m., a caller reported a gold van erratically operating on Walnut Street.
On Thursday, Dec. 13 at 2:39 a.m., police arrested Tony Ramos, 25, Lynnfield, for OUI 2nd offense and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
At 6:20 a.m. an accident was reported on Condon Circle. One was taken to an area hospital with neck pain.
At 9:17 a.m., a caller on Ross Drive reported that a suspicious woman was sitting in a car eating a banana and smoking. She turned out to be a visiting nurse.
On Friday, Dec. 14 at 12:10 p.m., an erratic operator was reported on Main Street. The motorist was gone on arrival.
At 2:43 p.m., a Main Street resident called about a damaged fence.
At 3:01 p.m., police issued a summons to a 26 year old man for leaving the scene of property damage.
At 3:07 p.m., a break-in was reported on Saunders Road.
At 6:28 p.m., police issued a summons to a 26 year old Lynnfield man for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating with a revoked or suspended registration.
At 8:13 p.m., police dispersed a group of youths who were hanging out behind the South Fire Station.
At 8:41 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Essex Street. An officer spoke with the elderly driver.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2:25 a.m., police arrested Danny K. Cooksey, 27, 319 North Main Street, Middleton, on an out of town warrant.
At 5:40 p.m., police took a report involving a custody dispute.
At 7:15 p.m., police arrested David J. Ghiozzi, 42, 695 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, on an out of town warrant.
At 8:10 p.m., a suspicious car was reported on Willowdale Drive. It turned out to be youths talking.
At 8:25 p.m., a Moran Road resident reported that some Christmas lawn ornaments had been vandalized.
On Sunday, Dec. 16 at 8:43 a.m., a speeding white BMW was reported on Prospect Ave. It was gone on arrival.
At 10:39 a.m., a vandalized door was reported at Olde Town Market.
At 10:37 a.m., a vandalism report came in from Salem Street.
At 1 p.m. a caller reported an elderly man was attempting to cross Route 1 with a walker. An officer arranged for a ride for him.
At 4 p.m., police took a walk-in larceny report.
