Suspicious Man Reported Checking Locked Doors

Information provided by Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, September 7 and Sunday, September 9.

On Friday, September 7 at 11:20 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Village Row. It checked out OK.
At 2:40 p.m., a disabled auto was reported at Salem and Walnut Streets.
At 6:23 p.m., a wire was reported possibly on fire on Chatham Way. The fire department and Reading Municipal Light responded.

On Saturday, September 8 at 6:21 a.m., a Summer Street resident reported their tires were slashed during the night.
At 10:41 a.m., police took a walk-in report about phone harassment.
At 8:32 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious individual showed up at an estate sale on Village Row and appeared to be trying out locked doors.
At 10:21 p.m., a woman reportedly fell and hurt her leg at the Fat Cactus. She was transported to Melrose/Wakefield hospital.

On Sunday, September 9 at 1:11 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on London Circle.
At 3:46 p.m., an accident with no injury was reported on Salem Street.
At 8:32 p.m., an erratic operator was reported heading to Middleton. It was not located.
At 8:40 p.m., a caller reported spotting two people run across Main Street into the Sagamore Golf Course.
