Stolen Car Recovered At Ninety-Nine

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, March 19 and Tuesday, March 20.

On Monday, March 19 at 7:24 a.m., a caller reported smoke coming from a roof on Summer Street. Police and fire personnel soon turned back however after it was determined that the smoke was actually steam.
At 9:21 a.m., police took a larceny report.
At 5:22 p.m., a Lovell Road resident reported that four youths had rung her doorbell and fled into the woods. They were gone on arrival.
At 6:38 p.m., police took a shoplifting report from Yankee Candle.
At 8:01 p.m., police issued a summons to a 25-year-old Saugus man for speeding, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and for a number plate violation.
At 8:04 p.m., an accident was reported on Route 128 South. Two patients were transported to Union Hospital. A vehicle reportedly struck a guardrail and one patient was reported to be down outside of the vehicle.

On Tuesday, March 20 at 7:32 a.m., a minor motor vehicle accident occurred on Condon Circle.
At 10:34 a.m., a Lowell Street resident reported that two suspicious men had come to her door and then gone to a neighbor's.
At 3:36 p.m., Lynnfield Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Ninety-Nine restaurant. The vehicle was initially reported stolen in Cambridge and was later connected with a hit and run car accident in Lynn.
