Someone Defecated On Church's Back Steps

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, Feb. 1 and Thursday, Feb. 2.
On Thursday, Feb. 1, at 5:14 a.m., police investigated an alarm at The Savings Bank.
At 10:53 a.m., police were informed that somebody had defecated on the back steps at St. Maria Goretti Church. The caller requested extra patrols in the area.
At 10:15 a.m., police took a larceny report involving a wallet stolen at Boston Sports Club.
At 2:06 p.m., police performed a well-being check on East Huckleberry Road.
At 4:30 p.m., a Maddison Lane resident reported that eggs had been thrown at his house.
At 5:43 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Crest Road.
At 7:30 p.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Mansfield Road.
At 7:40 p.m., a Horseshoe Drive resident called about a woman in the neighborhood who was apparently shooting a video. Police spoke with her and she reported that she had also checked in with Town Hall.
On Thursday, Feb. 2, at 12:41 a.m., a woman was spotted walking around in front of the Lynnfield Police Station. Soon after, police arrested Steven Balian, 48, of 54 Hopkins Street, Wakefield, for domestic assault and battery.
At 3:15 a.m., police took a report from a landlord on Bourque Road having a problem with a tenant.
At 8:51 a.m., police, fire and state police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 128 North.
At 3:21 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on Lowell Street.
At 5:25 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on South Broadway.
At 7:08 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on North Broadway.
At 7:35 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a hit and run accident.
