Shop Local This Holiday Season: Restaurants
Giving gift cards can help support your local dining establishments - and people just like to get them anyhow.
Each week during the holiday season, area Patch websites will take a look at local gift-giving ideas in their respective towns. For this week – restaurant gift cards are more popular than ever, and in Lynnfield, there are numerous options to choose from. For example, consider these:
99: The Ninety-Nine Restaurant on Salem Street has been a popular local destination for some four decades. And according to the company’s website, if you buy $25 in gift cards from them, you receive a $5 bonus card.
LHOP: Right down the street from the Ninety-Nine and just about as well established in town is the Lynnfield House of Pizza. It’s Greek pizza, subs, salads and more.
Fat Cactus: The Mexican restaurant on Route 1 has apparently brought its Sunday brunch back for the winter months, so that’s all the more reason to give a gift card from the Fat Cactus. Along wih Sunday brunch, the place is also home to an ultra high-end tequila selection, with some choices that run in the neighborhood of $80 and more per shot.
Ming’s: For those who haven’t been to this Chinese restaurant on Salem Street, Ming's is small but serves good food and has generous portions Bali Hai has been around for a long time and has a popular bar.
Christine’s: Christine’s Café and Confections in Post Office Square opened earlier this fall. Chances are somebody on your shopping list has yet to try this place but has heard good things about it – and that’s just the right combination to look for when giving a gift certificate.
