For the past three or four years, students in grades K-8 at Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lynnfield have been raising money to help fight cancer by walking laps around the school grounds for an hour. The students, some of whom appear in these photos, carried signs for the cause and were in great spirits despite cloudy, drizzling weather.

"People have overcome a lot in their life, we're going to overcome a little rain today," Principal Jim Grocki, Jr. told Lynnfield Patch.
