A couple of weeks ago on a drive through Lynnfield, I was out taking some photos and spotted a blue heron in the small pond behind the Colonial property. Several minutes later, a second heron showed up in the area in front of the Boston Sports Club.

One shot was lucky enough to actually catch a heron in the act of eating a fish. Overall, the year has been fairly generous for outdoor photography in Lynnfield, with numerous deer sightings, some up-close hawk pictures and a couple of other things.
