PHOTO: The Old Man Of Lynnfield?
Got a photo you shot somewhere in Lynnfield that you'd like to share? Email it to william.laforme@patch.com.
In today's photo of the day - is it just me, or is this one of those rocks that has its own facial features, a la the former Old Man of the Mountain up in New Hampshire? It's in Lynnfield on conservation land not far from Route 1 South and the 99 Restaurant.
I was actually living up in New Hampshire about an hour south of the White Mountains when the Old Man fell. It was a sad blow to all of New England's heritage.
This image isn't quite as chiseled and detailed as the Old Man was, but it's got character nonetheless. Whether or not it could sell any t-shirts and keychains, that's another story.

Looks more like Snoopy lying on top of his dog house with his nose hanging over the edge.
