The following is an announcement from the LHS Interact Club:
The Lynnfield High School Interact Club in partnership with the Lynnfield Rotary Club recently announced that their first biennial Monster Flash fundraiser will be held on Sunday, October 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Old Meeting House.
This new event is intended to occur on the off year of the traditional biennial High School Haunted House. This Halloween event will transform our old meeting house into a fun and maybe a bit scary haunted house. Children are encouraged to wear their costume to have a picture taken in front of the Halloween themed photo background.
Admission of $5.00 per child ($10 maximum per family) will include touring the haunted house with frightful music, photograph of each child in front of the festively decorated background emailed to you and a special Halloween treat. Special thanks go to the First Financial Trust, The Savings Bankand The Priestleys Fine Art Photography for their generous support. Further thanks goes to the Rugato family for their design efforts and loan of decorations from their infamous haunted house on Kenniston Road in Lynnfield.
The Lynnfield High School Interact Club is the child club of the Lynnfield Rotary Club which began in 2009. The current advisor to the club is Dr. Thomas Jefferson, Superintendant of Schools, also a Lynnfield Rotarian. Proceeds from this event as well as all Interact fundraisers will be used to support their efforts to assist in a local and world-wide charitable cause each school year. The Interact Club has used its money in the past to support causes such as the renovation of the Partridge Island Boardwalk, The Buddy Walk supporting the National Down Syndrome Society, sending letters and candy to the troops and the eradication of Polio.
